SEYMOUR, Ind. – A Seymour senior could not have his graduation party and the Seymour Police Department (SPD) reaped the benefits on Saturday. Members of SPD are thanking the Bane family and Nacho Momma’s for their generosity, and they want you to know the story.
The family had contracted the food truck for their son’s celebration but, because of COVID-19, that plan and the entire party were canceled.
There was food to be eaten, so the Banes diverted the truck to the Seymour Police Department instead.
An SPD spokesperson commented, “We’ve said it before, but we have the best citizens on the planet. These acts of kindness mean a great deal to us at a time when relations could be so easily strained.”
