COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Police Department (CPD) is seeking information in regards to a shooting that injured a woman on Thursday night. Officers responded to the 2200 block of Union Street at around 11:45 p.m.
After arriving, police provided initial care to the victim, an adult female, who apparently had suffered gunshot wounds to her lower body. She was transported to Columbus Regional Health for treatment.
Detectives say that witnesses reported seeing a silver-colored sport utility vehicle leaving the area of the shooting. Anyone with tips or information is urged to contact CPD at 812-376-2600.
