FRANKLIN, Ind. – The 21 members of the Johnson Country 4-H Fair Board have voted to move forward with the Johnson County Fair with some major changes. The board has spent multiple hours working on the best solution with 4-H kids and their families in mind.
There will be no Midway or Commercial Exhibits this year.
The fair will be a live 4-H exhibitor event only and will not be open to the general public. Face masks will be required for all volunteers, employees, and anyone participating in 4-H events. There will be no overnight animal stays and the animal shows will be a “show and go” format.
The Fair Queen contest will occur with social distancing rules in place and restrictions on attendees. Livestock Shows will be broadcast live on social media.
Specific details of schedules, and who can attend events will be released at a future date.
