NASHVILLE, Ind. – Brown County State Park, and all Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) properties, will resume charging entrance fees no later than May 15 and some parks start that process this weekend. The everyday entrance fee for noncommercial vehicles with Indiana license plates, including driver and passengers, is $7. Out-of-state vehicles pay $9.
Marinas, equestrian trails, mountain bike trails, and nature centers open this Monday, May 11. Day-use restrooms and vault toilets will open by May 15.
Guests at DNR properties should practice social distancing at all times, particularly, as you hike, picnic, or use boat ramps. You are asked to keep your group size small, supply your own drinking water and hand sanitizer, and bring a covering for picnic tables and take it with you when you leave.
