BARGERSVILLE, Ind. – The town of Bargersville, along with the non-profit organization Bargersville Main Street, will begin next weekend to distribute and deliver food supplies they purchased using a portion of the $100,000 in relief grant funds they received from the Indiana Office of Rural and Community Affairs. The event is on Saturday, May 16, at Walnut Grove Elementary School.
The food boxes handed out will contain protein, vegetables, fruit, and dairy products and each container is estimated to feed a family of four for one week.
Individuals needing food supplies should call 317-422-3185, by May 15, to secure a box. Bargersville is also seeking referrals for those in need from local churches, food banks, and non-profit organizations.
