BARGERSVILLE, Ind. – A Bargersville Police Department officer was patrolling near 7248 West Stones Crossing Road on Wednesday when he heard the sound gunfire coming from the Oak Meadows Trailer Park. A van was reportedly seen leaving at a high rate of speed. Police stopped it at Old State Road 37 and Huggin Hollow Road.
During a search of the vehicle, law enforcement allegedly found a .380 caliber shell casing, and a holster. Police say the driver admitted to having a gun and shooting it in the air. The driver also supposedly told police that he threw the gun out of his window when he saw police lights.
Authorities found the pistol and discovered it was stolen from Ohio. Police determined no harm was done in the Oak Meadows community from firing the weapon.
Stormy Neville was arrested for driving without receiving a license and possession of methamphetamine, while Jason Bishop was booked for an outstanding warrant.
