COLUMBUS, Ind. – Although the Winter Weather Advisory is concluding this morning, cold temperatures are expected to continue to impact much of central and south-central Indiana for the next 24 hours, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Temperatures will be in the mid-teens to mid-20s for most of today, with subzero wind chills this morning. Tonight’s low could fall back into the single digits. The thermometer will rise to the mid-40s for highs Thursday through Sunday, and then climb into the 50s early next week.
NWS says that these unseasonably cold temperatures are running about 30 to 35 degrees below normal for this time of the year.
