COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Police Department (CPD) arrested Anthony Brown, 51, of Columbus, on several charges including dealing methamphetamine after officers initiated a traffic stop on his vehicle Monday night, near McKinley and Gladstone Avenues.
A short time later, a police K-9 was requested and the animal alerted to narcotics inside the suspect’s truck. While searching the vehicle, CPD officers allegedly located over 30 grams of meth and a small amount of marijuana.
Brown was placed under arrest, transported to the county jail, and charged with dealing methamphetamine, possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, driving while suspended, and possession of marijuana.
