COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Indiana chapter of The Cure Starts Now will host a Casino Night, presented by CeraLand, this Friday, November 1, at The Commons in Columbus. The Casino Night is a semi-formal and features an auction, food stations, music, and casino-style gaming with prizes and raffles for all attendees.
This year’s signature fundraising event honors six children who have battled or are battling DIPG, one of the deadliest of all cancers. Originally started in 2007, The Cure Starts Now Foundation has funded over $12,500,000 in pediatric brain cancer research and is the leader in DIPG research worldwide.
The foundation works with Texas Children’s Hospital, one of the only cancer foundations dedicated to finding the “homerun cure” for all cancers. Its work and progress have been featured on The Today Show, Good Morning America, CNN, People Magazine, and other media.
