JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says two bridge projects that began in late July on U.S. 31, between Crothersville and Uniontown, are expected to be completed ahead of schedule. U.S. 31 closed over Grassy Creek in late July and a temporary traffic signal has been in place at Blau Ditch.
The bridge over Grassy Creek that was expected to be closed until November 29, has already reopened. The temporary signal at Blau Ditch remains in place until Monday, November 5, which means INDOT construction in that area is ending one week early.
