COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) says lane closures are planned this week for routine maintenance and inspection on the eastbound State Road 46 bridge over the East Fork White River in Columbus.
On Wednesday, October 23, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., the two right lanes will be closed. On Thursday, October 24, during the same hours, the two left lanes will be blocked.
Two lanes of traffic will remain open at all times during the work. INDOT states that Friday, October 25, will be used as an alternate date in case of inclement weather.
