COLUMBUS, Ind. – A semi-truck accident on northbound Interstate 65, near mile marker 71, on Monday at around 4 p.m., resulted in a traffic nightmare for drivers in Columbus. The northbound lanes of I-65 were closed, north of Exit 68, which meant traffic was diverted onto State Road 46 just in time for the afternoon rush hour.
Eastbound State Road 46 was clogged, as well as the streets through downtown Columbus and U.S. 31.
At least one person was reported injured but no other details have been released.
