COLUMBUS, Ind. – Although warm, Friday was another near-perfect night for area high school football. Both Columbus teams, along with Jennings County and Brown County, were all winners.
The Columbus East Olympians hosted Floyd Central and crushed the Highlanders, 41-14. The Columbus North Bulldogs, in a game aired on MOJO 102.9, traveled to Vigo County and upended Terre Haute North, 21-3. In bragging rights for Jackson County, Brownstown outlasted Seymour 34-28. Jennings County doubled the score on Connersville, 28-14, while Franklin was edged by Mooresville 49-42. Edinburgh lost to Milan, 61-6.
