BROWNSTOWN, Ind. – Brownstown police arrested Lakota Snyder on Thursday after running from officers, and stealing a car.
It all started when officers pulled over a car near the intersection of County Road 300 N and 225 W. When the vehicle stopped, the driver got out, but Snyder, who was the passenger, jumped to the driver’s seat and sped off. Police quickly initiated a vehicle pursuit, and Snyder reportedly took the car off road before exiting and fleeing on foot through a corn field.
Not too long after, police reported that Snyder ran to a residence, indicated that the had a gun, and then stole their car. Police however, spotted the newly stolen car and were finally able to apprehend Snyder. According to police, he had a warrant out of Jackson County, and will now be facing multiple other charges.
