COLUMBUS, Ind. – It has been one month since the opening weekend and Exhibit Columbus is in full swing.
Ben Valentine, a volunteer with the exhibition, says you are now able to download the free Hear/Here audio app and share your reactions to the installations. You’ll hear historic clips from important sites and from the designers. You can then add your thoughts directly in the app.
Through the end of October, ColumBike is now offering free two-hour bike rentals so you can explore the exhibition.
One of the most enduring legacies of Columbus’ commitment to good design and the community comes from the Cummins Foundation Architecture Program’s investment in educational facilities, with 14 of the 17 local schools built with support from this program. In keeping with this tradition, Exhibit Columbus wants every student to experience the show and is giving tours of several of the installations. If you are an educator interested in organizing a student tour, email info@exhibitcolumbus.org.
