JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. – On Tuesday, Jackson County Commissioners announced a county-wide burn ban because of current drought conditions leading to a higher risk of fire danger.
At this time no recreational fires, open burning, the burning of debris, and the use of burn barrels are all prohibited. All Jackson County residents are being asked to comply with the ban until further notice.
