COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Police Department (CPD) arrested a local man on multiple charges including four warrants after he was spotted riding a bicycle on Saturday afternoon. Officers observed Charles Reed, 32, of Columbus, near 13th Street and Sycamore Drive. After they confirmed several warrants for his arrest, he was quickly taken into custody.
CPD says while searching a small bag that belonged to the suspect, methamphetamine and drug-related items were allegedly found.
Reed was transported to the Bartholomew County Jail where he was remanded on preliminary charges of possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, plus four Bartholomew County warrants.
