COLUMBUS, Ind. – It was a beautiful night for high school football in south-central Indiana on Friday and the evening produced a mixed bag of results for local teams.
In a game heard on MOJO 102.9, the Columbus East Olympians traveled down to near the Ohio River and shutout New Albany 49-0. Columbus North welcomed Guerin Catholic of Noblesville to town and the Bulldogs lost 21-7. Seymour was edged by Bedford North Lawrence, 24-21, Jennings County blasted Madison 57-27, while Franklin walloped Martinsville 62-39. Edinburgh fell to South Decatur, 25-21.
