COLUMBUS, Ind. – The city of Columbus and the Columbus Municipal Airport are joining together to host “Birds and Brews” today, Wednesday, September 18. The event will feature an air show like no one has ever seen in this area.
Later this afternoon, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, an Air Demonstration Squadron, will be performing in central Indiana for the first time. Along with the aviation activities, there will be food, plus a Beergarden for adults that will include a one-of-a-kind Canadian beer that is only available at the show. Attendees will also see a U.S. military flight demonstration and parachute jump.
“Birds and Brews” starts at 4 p.m., and this year it is replacing Columbus Aviation Day which is typically held in June.
