INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Having finished the work on the eastbound and northbound lanes, the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is closing the southeast side of Interstate 465, between I-65 and I-70, for 15 days for maintenance on the southbound and westbound lanes in that same stretch of the expressway. The work begins this Friday evening, September 6, and continues through September 21.
The road closures are part of a statewide, $150 million plan to repair damage and to improve pavement conditions around Indiana. During the closure, INDOT reminds drivers to leave early and plan alternate routes.
