BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. – On Tuesday afternoon, Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the area of E 100 South and National Road in reference to a motor vehicle accident with an injury.
Motorcyclist Lloyd Cooper, 56, of Elizabethtown allegedly rear-ended a passenger car driven by Cherokee Joe Heath, 27, of North Vernon. Heath’s vehicle was stopped in traffic at the time of the collision. Cooper was reportedly ejected from his motorcycle and life-lined to a trauma center in Indianapolis.
Heath, who had an outstanding Jennings County warrant, was arrested and transported to the Jennings County Jail.
