COLUMBUS, Ind. – The city of Columbus and the Columbus Municipal Airport are joining together to host “Birds and Brews” later this month. The event will feature an air show like no one has ever seen in this area.
On Wednesday, September 18, the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, an Air Demonstration Squadron, will be performing in central Indiana for the first time ever. Along with the aviation activities, there will be a Beergarden for adults that will include a one-of-a-kind Canadian beer that is only available at the show. Attendees can also expect a U.S. military flight demonstration and parachute jump.
“Birds and Brews” starts at 4 p.m., and is replacing Columbus Aviation Day which is typically held in June.
