COLUMBUS, Ind. – Authorities at the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) say they have been investigating a Bartholomew County man about a sex offense involving a juvenile victim.
The suspect was interviewed Friday by detective Dane Duke and deputy Frank Munoz. He is identified as Clemente Santiago Bautista, 24, of Hope, and BCSO says he has allegedly confessed to the offense.
Bautista was arrested on the preliminary felony charge of child molesting and is currently in the Bartholomew County Jail.
