COLUMBUS, Ind. – It’s Columbus North vs, Columbus East, it’s the Olympians against the Bulldogs, it’s the crosstown showdown. However you want to phrase it, Friday night is a very big thing for local high school football players, alumni, and fans. It’s The Game. It’s for bragging rights.
Columbus North will travel from 25th and Maple Streets to Columbus East’s John Stafford Field on South Marr Road. The Bulldogs will be trying to regroup after losing their first game of the season last week, while the Olympians will be looking to build on last Friday night’s big victory.
Radio station MOJO 102.9 will carry all the action as East hosts North. The broadcast starts with the pre-game show at 6:40 and the kickoff is at 7 p.m. Tom Rust and Jimmy St. John will call the game.
