PLAINFIELD, Ind. – Duke Energy is sending a contingent of Hoosier line workers, vegetation workers, supervisors, and administrative personnel to assist in restoring power to customers in the southeast who are affected by Hurricane Dorian. Crews are leaving from eight different operations centers in Indiana, including Edinburgh and Shelbyville.
Workers will leave on Friday morning, and the duration of their deployment is not yet known.
