COLUMBUS, Ind. – The traveling exhibit entitled “Hidden in Plain Sight,” designed to help parents of teens recognize unfamiliar hazards, is coming to Columbus next week. The display was created by Intersect, Inc. and works in collaboration with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office to help parents across the state.
Participants who attend will walk through a makeshift child’s bedroom as they learn to identify objects that could provide critical insights about risky behavior. Over 100 different items will be “hidden” in the room, all of which could be red-flagged as risky, harmful, or illegal.
The interactive exhibit will be at Columbus Signature Academy-New Tech High School on Wednesday, September 4, at 5:30 p.m.
