COLUMBUS, Ind. – The 33rd Annual Our Hospice Concert, featuring the rock group Survivor, is expected to draw thousands to Mill Race Park this Saturday, August 31, for what is typically the organization’s largest fundraising event of the year. Our Hospice of South Central Indiana is hoping to raise over $125,000 from the event. You can donate by buying $10 raffle tickets for a chance to win $10,000 and also by purchasing t-shirts.
“The Summer Concert is our largest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets and T-shirts help provide our special type of care to everyone who is eligible,” said Laura Leonard, Our Hospice President. “Families rely on us to walk with them through this journey. This community has supported us for over 39 years and that support is critical.”
In the past, Our Hospice has been able to use the fundraising from the Labor Day weekend event to care for patients across multiple counties, provide over $290,000 in uncompensated care and bereavement services, and care for over 480 patients at the 14-bed inpatient center.
