COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management District (SWMD) board met Thursday and ratified the addition of loyalty pay for agency employees to the agency’s budget. The pay would be $50 per year of service to be paid out the first week of December 2020.
SWMD Director Heather Seisel will bring the agency’s salary resolution before the board next month and then present it to Bartholomew County Council for a public hearing.
In other business, the board approved the landfill gate fee waiver request for the city of Columbus in regard to a soon-to-be-demolished house at 563 Clifty Dr., as well as a similar request from the organizers of the Hope Heritage Days event.
