FRANKLIN, Ind. – Around 11:32 p.m. last night, the Franklin Fire Department received a call about smoke coming from a building at 1168 North Main Street in Franklin. When firefighters arrived, it appeared that there was a fire inside the Penn Station restaurant at the location. Crews were able to extinguish the fire, but some of the surrounding buildings reportedly received smoke damage.
No injuries were reported from the fire, and the Franklin Fire Department says that the fire is still under investigation.
