COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Edinburgh/Bartholomew County/Columbus Joint District Plan Commission met Monday and granted a 60-day continuance to Julia Richards in the matter of a 10.95-acre tract of land in the northeast quadrant of the area near U.S. 31 and Interstate 65.
The applicant wishes to have the property rezoned from suburban residential to industrial. There are no homes on the land.
The owner of the adjacent property, on which there is currently one unoccupied rental home, has submitted a letter of objection.
The applicant was represented at the meeting by her attorney, who said issues pertaining to utilities and access still need to be resolved.
