NORTH VERNON, Ind. – Legal Aid is once again coming in Jennings County for a Free Legal Aid Clinic tomorrow, Tuesday, August 20, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Jennings County Public Library.
The Legal Aid Clinic and Pro Bono Program utilizes local volunteer attorneys, offering free legal consultations for the provision of legal advice and assistance in furtherance of equal access to justice within the community. It is meant for low-income individuals who might not otherwise be able to afford the counsel of an attorney.
Residents coming to the Free Legal Aid Clinic can expect to receive a 10-minute consultation with a lawyer who will answer general questions, offer legal information, or give other limited assistance or advice on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is no need to register in advance.
