SEYMOUR, Ind. – Schneck Medical Center Hospice is hosting GriefShare, a free, 13-week program starting Thursday, August 29. It is open to anyone coping with a loss.
GriefShare is a friendly, caring group who will help walk people through the grieving process of losing someone. Some topics of discussion include living with grief, the journey of grief, the effects of grief, your family and grief, and the uniqueness of grief.
Stephen Barrett, Schneck Hospice Chaplain says, “Being with others that have had similar experiences can be extremely healing. This program is designed to be a place of hope and healing for those whose lives have been broken.”
The GriefShare group will meet every Thursday for 13 weeks at The Point, 311 Myers St., in Seymour, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
