COLUMBUS, Ind. – Deputies from the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) responded to a disturbance in Hartsville at around 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
Officers identified the subject as Paul Foley, 33, of Hope. When he saw law enforcement, the man allegedly fled in his vehicle, and after hitting a parked truck, deputies say the suspect exited his vehicle and took off on foot.
BCSO says that after a few hours, Foley was located in a field and taken to the Bartholomew County Jail on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement, leaving the scene of an accident, and reckless driving. He has since been released.
