FRANKLIN, Ind. – Authorities at the Indiana State Police (ISP) have arrested a Johnson County man on dozens of alleged felony charges stemming from a two-month investigation led by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Tyler Bartnovsky, 26, of Franklin, was taken into custody on Thursday after investigators served a search warrant at his residence.
Based on information discovered during the investigation and subsequent search warrant, Bartnovsky was arrested on 25 counts of possession of child pornography, one count of child solicitation, and one count of sexual misconduct with a minor.
The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force consists of several central Indiana police agencies including the Franklin Police Department, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, and ISP.
The charges listed are merely accusations and probable cause for arrest. Formal charges will be determined by the Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office.
