The Waldron Elementary PTO invites you to the annual “Fall Family Fun Night” on November 2, 2013. There will be a chili supper, carnival games, dunk tanks, a silent auction – Fun for the whole family!
All proceeds will go toward maintaining various programs provided by the PTO for the children. These include our fluoride program, accelerated reader program, field trips, general support for the classrooms, and our main goal this year is updating technology for the classrooms.
The PTO supplements funds that are not given by the state. We purchase iPads for the classrooms, give each teacher money to purchase things that they need for their classroom, pay for most of the field trip fees so that they are affordable for each student, pay for class parties, and several other things throughout the year. The donations we get go a long way for us to help give each child a great experience in school to treasure for a lifetime.
