Amnesty Day for Hard to Dispose Wastes 8-3 (Bartholomew County Residents Only)
Refrigerant Appliances- up to 2 refrigerant containing appliances at no cost.
Gas Grill Propane Tanks– up to 2 outdated gas grill propane tanks at no cost.
Tires– up to 4 personal vehicle tires at no cost. Rims must be removed.
Electronics Recycling Program 8-3
Corded electronics will be accepted as part of our new permanent program.
Exclusions include items primarily composed of glass, ceramics, and wood, console/projection televisions, and non-intact items.
Plant Swap 8-12
Residents can bring a plant or plant supply to trade. A Master Gardener will be on hand to answer your gardening questions.
Hot Dog Roast 11-1
Come enjoy a hotdog, chips, and a soda on us at the 3 R’s Pavilion.
Children’s Activities Sponsored by Kidscommons 9-11
Kidscommons will be on hand with a Reuse Art activity.
Free Mulch/Compost Loading 8-12
Residents of Bartholomew County can stop by with their truck or trailer and get one free pick-up sized truck load of their choice of mulch or compost for free.
Earth Day t-shirts will be given to kids 12 & under, must be present, while supplies last!
Toyota has donated Reusable shopping bags, while they last!
Document Shredding Sponsored by Speedy Shred 9-11
Residential quantities of documents will be accepted for shredding. Donations will benefit FFY.
Composters will be available for purchase $50. Pre-Earth Day Sale price is $45.

Various Educational Displays
The Flatrock Haw Creek Watershed Project will host an interactive River Display. The RC Flyers will create Reuse airplanes. Schmitt students Reuse Art will be displayed at the 3 R’s Pavilion as part of Phillip Bennett’s Senior Project.
